Repairing Intimacy: An Object Relations Approach to Couples Therapy

This work uses object relations theory in looking at the psychotherapy of the marital relationship. Object relations theory provides an explanation of how the internal and external worlds are linked and creates a framework for understanding both the individual and the system of the couple.
