The official professional journal of the International Transactional Analysis Association. Established in 1970, the TAJ is published quarterly to advance the theory, principles, and practice of transactional analysis. It also offers scholarly articles on related topics, including research into the nature of human change; insightful book reviews; and a yearly author and subject index (October issue). The TAJ frequently features theme issues. Recent subjects have included case studies, the schizoid process, groups, transactional analysis in education, the evolving field of organizational transactional analysis, transactional analysis and psychoanalysis, gay and lesbian issues, transactional analysis in Latin America, and freedom and responsibility.

About the Editor(s)

William F. Cornell, MA, teaching and supervising transactional analyst, maintains an independent prvate practice of therapy, consultation, and training in Pittsburgh, USA. He is a co-editor of the Transactional Analysis Journal and has published extensively in a broad range of journals and psychotherapy books. He is the author of Explorations in Transactional Analysis: The Meech Lake Papers, editor of James McLaughlin's The Healer's Bent: Solitude and Dialogue in the Clinical Encounter, and co-editor with Helena Hargaden of From Transactions to Relations: The Emergence of a Relational Tradition in Transactional Analysis.
