About the Author(s)
Brian Thorne is Emeritus Professor of Counselling at the University of East Anglia, Norwich where he was previously Director of Counselling and of the Centre for Counselling Studies. He is also a Co-founder of the Norwich Centre and continues to work there as a Professional Fellow.

This is an excellent book which I read several years ago. Brian Thorne, although Christian very definately works in a spiritual rather than religious way. This book illustrates the very basis of Rogerian counselling, the healing of the inner feeeling self, or rather the healing of our spirit, through a shared journey with the counsellor.
