The girls movement of the past few years has electrified the field, producing a brand new venue for girls' emerging voices and burgeoning social science research. Empowering Adolescent Girls is the first book to combine the research with practical strategies to help social workers, psychologists and educators tailer their projects to the needs of adolescent girls.

Awesome text for people working with teenaged girls. Has everything you need to implement "Go Grrrls" Program. Pretest and posttest showed positive increase on developmental factors like body image, self-esteem, hopelessness, knowing your resources, etc.
