This is a most valuable book, especially to those of us who are devoted outsiders and have an interest in the application of psychoanalysis to the arts. I especially commend the pair of chapters by the two editors, 'Voyeurism' and 'On Feeling watched', as well as the impressively literate essay on 'The Spectrum of Light in Literary and Psychoanalytic Narratives' by Nilofer Kaul.
