| Extra Info | : | This is the third series of seminars which apply key recent developments in personality disorder to inform and improve daily clinical practice with this complex group of patients. These seminars are jointly hosted by The Centre for Understanding Personality (CUSP) and Transference Focused Psychotherapy-UK. CUSP (joint winner of the 2026 research prize of the International Society of TFP) is the research and training unit of DeanCross: Tower Hamlets Personality Disorder Service, (winner of the 2019 RCPsychiatry team of the year), East London NHS Foundation Trust. Each seminar will consist of a lecture followed by Q&As and discussion and then a live demonstration with an actor, followed by Q&As and discussion. Day 1: on recent key developments and the contribution of Transference Focused Psychotherapy and Neuropsychoanalysis. Day 2: The application of Transference Focused Psychotherapy and Neuropsychoanalysis to Borderline Personality Disorder: Clinical vignette and live demonstration. Day 3: Narcissism and Transference Focused Psychotherapy (TFP): overview and demonstration of clinical application. Day 4: Case presentation of TFP assessment and treatment of a narcissistic patient and demonstration of clinical application. |
