| Extra Info | : | AGIP PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY TRAINING Thinking about training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy? The AGIP Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training is the training wing of the Association for Group and Individual Psychotherapy (AGIP) which offers an exciting, rewarding and challenging training programme. On the Open Day you will get a chance to meet AGIP members who are involved with the training, and qualified psychotherapists who are successfully working in a variety of fields as well as private practice. Foundation Year This course will run on 10 Saturdays over the Academic Year 2019/2020. This course is aimed at those who are considering a clinical training as well as those who have a broader interest in psychoanalytic ideas and want to learn more. Three Year Clinical Training This course will run over 10 weekends, one a month, commencing October 2019. It will include theoretical and clinical seminars, an infant observation, and a psychiatric placement, alongside work with training patients under supervision. Both courses will be taught from a pluralist perspective, and will include traditional psychotherapeutic concepts as well as thinking that have developed in the 21st Century.
