Jill Gentile, along with co-author Michael Macrone, discuss their new book Feminine Law: Freud, Free Speech, and the Voice of Desire with Dany Nobus and Lene Auestad.

We anticipate that the discussion will last about 30 minutes and will be followed by a brief Q&A session and then there will be a chance to browse among Karnac's extensive bookshelves whilst enjoying a glass of wine and nibbles.

Jill Gentile is an adjunct assistant clinical professor at the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, and a training and supervising analyst at the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity in New York. She is a corresponding editor of Contemporary Psychoanalysis and on the editorial board of the International Journal of Psychoanalytic Self Psychology. She is a practicing psychoanalyst and clinical psychologist in Highland Park, New Jersey and in Manhattan, New York.
