Extra Info:According to Freud, transference and resistance were two key poles around which psychoanalytic treatment revolved. This seminar would focus on Freudian and post-Freudian theories of transference, focussing particularly on the difference between the Lacanian and British Object Relations schools. It would also consider neurotic and psychotic transference, and speak about the different clinical approaches to each.

Anouchka Grose is a writer and psychoanalyst, practicing in London. She is the author of two novels and two non-fiction books, No More Silly Love Songs (Portobello, 2010) and Are You Considering Therapy (Karnac, 2011). She has written for The Guardian, The Independent and YOU Magazine, as well as writing about art for Tate, Saatchi Art and Music Magazine and The White Review. She is a member of The Centre of Freudian Analysis and Research, where she regularly lectures.
