The 3rd joint NELFT/UCL conference will focus on the internal and external dilemmas for clients, their families and professionals involved. Eating disorders affect people, their relationships, professionals and services in myriad ways, often evoking dilemmas whilst also presenting possibilities for creative thinking. Through presentations and workshops by professionals and users of services, there will be opportunities to hear about the cutting edge of theory and research, the dilemmas of clients, professionals and teams affected by eating disorders, and the different possibilities for responding to these challenges. Our two keynote speakers, Professor Ulrike Schmidt and Dr Dasha Nicholls are internationally renowned in the field of eating disorders, working with adults and children respectively.
