Andrea Hill:

The Challenge of Loving a Different Other: A South African cameo?

Andrea Hill is a Clinical Social Worker who has been working with couples in Cape Town for over thirty years. She spent a year at the now TCCR in 1997/98. On her return to South Africa, she continued her learning together with other couple therapists in groups. Andrea has a special interest in exploring how difference may impact on the threesome couple therapy.

John Schlapobersky:

Couples Group Therapy for Toxic Collusions.
How we fit together and what might help when intimacy demands damage.

John Schlapobersky is a Training Analyst at the Institute of Group Analysis, and a Founding Member of the British Society for Couple Psychotherapists and Counsellors. He began running couple groups working with psychiatric patients and their partners in a London hospital Department of Psychiatry and has run such groups in private practice for many years. John has a background in South Africa and has made a long-standing contribution to clinical services for refugees and asylum-seekers from Developing Countries.
