This book provides an insiders view and understanding of the process of psychotherapy from the perspectives of actual psychotherapy trainees, their clients, and their supervisors. The authors offer a framework for conceptualizing the psychotherapy process and outcome that can be used in any training program. Clinical examples are integrated throughout and are based, in part, on a large-scale empirical study that qualitatively and quantitatively examines the experiences of trainees, clients, and supervisors.
