The use of support groups in healthcare (nursing, occupational therapy, etc.), education (pupils and staff) and also elements of commerce and industry (e.g., management) has great potential and is beginning to grow in practice. This book proved very popular in its first edition and so demonstrated the success of the conversational/tutorial approach in teaching the basic skills of running support groups.
