Becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist: From Classroom to Consulting Room

This text presents a state-of-the-art, evidence-based integrated model for supervision in marital and family therapy. It is structured in three parts: an introduction to the new model for family therapist education and supervision; a look at the skills required; and outlines of therapeutic sessions. Supervision is a 'hot topic' across clinical psychology and psychotherapy, with research suggesting that supervision changes therapist behaviour - which affects client outcomes.
