An Introduction to Mental Health

Students need to understand the very basics of working with and within mental health (i.e. grasping the difference between primary and secondary care) and what governs mental health professionals and practice. This book offers chapters that unpick each of the key areas for understanding common to any beginner's course that can then be built upon in later training. It is written for students with no prior knowledge and shows students how to put the service user at the centre of their understanding and practice.
