Ross M. Skelton is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy and Psychoanalytic Studies at Trinity College, Dublin. He is also an experienced psychotherapist with a private practice. He is an editor of the American Journal of Psychotherapy and a former editor of Kleinian Studies.

Grotstein, M.D. was Professor of Psychiatry, U.C.L.A School of Medicine, and a training and supervising analyst at the Los Angeles Psychoanalytic Institute and at The Psychoanalytic Centre of California. He was a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Psychoanalysis and was past North American Vice-President of the International Psychoanalytical Association. He published over 250 papers and was the author or editor/co-editor of numerous books.

Bernard Burgoyne is a psychoanalyst practising in London. He is a Member of the World Association of Psychoanalysis, and a founder member of the Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research. He was educated at the University of Cambridge, the London School of Economics, and the University of Paris, and is currently Emeritus Professor of Psychoanalysis in the Institute for Health and Social Science Research at Middlesex University. He has published extensively on questions of structure in psychoanalysis, and is particularly concerned with the way in which the predicaments of human interactions are resolvable only by a consideration of the frontiers of desire and the texture of space.
