The black sun, an ages-old image of the darkness in individual lives and in life itself, has not been treated hospitably in the modern world. Stanton Marlan, PhD, ABPP, FABP is a Jungian analyst, President of the Pittsburgh Society of Jungian Analysts, and an Adjunct Professor in Clinical Psychology at Duquesne University, USA. He has a longstanding interest in alchemy and the psychology of dreams.
