| Extra Info | : | Through its detailed main clinical papers and discussions, this year’s UCL Psychoanalysis Conference will examine the multiple functions of interpretation in our contemporary clinical technique. Other papers in the programme will look at interpretation in work with children. Others will address what is involved in applying psychoanalytic modes of interpretation to historical, social and political matters. The closing plenary panel and discussion will consider the role of interpretation in generating new psychoanalytic knowledge as well as the Conference findings as a whole.
The Psychoanalysis Unit is happy to present the completed programme for the Interpretation Today conference which will be held at UCL’s main campus, from Friday 4th December to Sunday 6th December 2015.
The main speakers and chairs include Donald Campbell, Claire Cripwell, Chris Mawson, Ron Britton, David Taylor, David Tuckett and Mary Target.
The programme also includes the final confirmation of the Saturday afternoon parallel paper presenters. Please note that the Friday evening clinical seminars are filling up quickly, so if you are interested in attending one, please register online to book one of the last remaining places. There are also still one or two available places for clinical presenters at the seminars; if you wish to take the opportunity to present some clinical material, please contact: events.psychoanalysis@ucl.ac.uk
