Couples and individuals in therapy are often preoccupied with problems with partners or children. There is a temptation to take this at face value and possibly offer advice. This workshop will show how these communications can be understood as transference communications about the therapy and it will explore how to develop effective interventions. All concepts will be illustrated with clinical examples.
