| Extra Info | : | We welcome back Margaret Landale and Jon Sletvold to give another day on embodied communication, and more generally the nature of the intersubjective field. This day of lectures and experiential workshops is designed for those interested in finetuning their navigation of the clinical interaction through the lens of embodied subjectivity. This approach is characterised by tuning into the micro-moment emotional interaction with the patient via signals from one’s own body. These indications require training and special attention to pick up. However, by developing deepened sensitivity to embodied and intersubjective experience, the therapist can attune to the internal world of the patient with much greater understanding and expanded empathy. |
